August 2026 Recap!

Our colleges are starting back up as well! Last night LCU FCA heard a word from Jon Jon one of LCU’s leaders and football players and played a chaotic game of dodgeball kickball. 😂 memories were made for sure! #teamfca #fca #lcuwildcats

Got to hang out at Montgomery High today! These guys are excited about the new year and FCA on their campus … so excited they couldn’t wait they went out to the DG on their break and got this prayer locker up and going! Looking forward to all that God is going to do at Montgomery High School this year through FCA!

School is starting back up which means our huddles are getting underway! Today I was able to meet with Grant High FCA leaders planning and going through how to lead huddles. It’s going to be a great year! Poland Jr. High FCA! We had a great time and it was an awesome surprise to have retired Principal of Poland Mr. Bob Stevens come and share a word with the students.

FCA Day last week for Simpson High school!

We had our first “All Abilities Night” and it was such a blessing to everyone! We had some fun and heard a word from our girl Macy from Leesville! Thankful for everyone who came out. We are already looking forward to the next one! And like Macy said “one day we will be with God but until then we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus.” ❤️❤️

We had the privilege of doing a whole school assembly at Ferriday Jr. High. It was awesome! The gospel was shared, students responded, churches were there to pray with the students. What a great day!

‼️VENUE CHANGE!! Alexandria Senior High has graciously offered to host fields of faith this year! We are one week out! Please share this post as we have had a venue change. Huddles College Athlete Retreat Worship… from our elementary huddles to our colleges. It has been an awesome beginning to 2025 for FCA in our area.

Last week a coach called wanting to get bibles for the team and this morning we were able to give bibles to every player and coach on ASH football. Thankful for the financial supporters of FCA that helps us be able to do this. We are prayerful and expectant that God is going to use His word to impact these young men and coaches. Thankful for some of our board members (Warren Morris and Barry Brown) coming out and bracing the 30 degrees this morning to help pass these out. We took a step of faith in purchasing these bibles and we still need more to cover that purchase so if you would like to give to something specific now is the time! Be apart of getting the Word out. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we will be rescheduling our Fields of Faith for Rapides Parish, stay tuned for the updated date!

This year for our Fields of Faith we are doing things a little different! For Rapides Parish we are going to have it yearly at a different local high school! This year we will be at ASH. And then our Grant Parish one will be held at Grant High. Our Catahoula and Lasalle one will be held at Jena! Mark your calendars today!

We enjoyed playing games with all the teams at Grant at their teams supporting teams event before the football game!

I was blessed to be able to be apart of Paradise Elementary’s See You at the Pole. What a sweet time of prayer we had. The Holy spirit was moving in our midst and it was the sweetest thing to experience. 🙏❤️ #syatp #syatp2024 #fca

FCA Basketball Camp 2024!!!

Cenla East representing at Sports Camp! Campers and huddle leaders! This last week was so awesome. Getting to see and hear about our huddle leaders leading campers to Christ in one on one conversations as well as some of our campers surrendering their lives to Christ! God is so good!

We enjoy hosting FCA days for different schools! We just did one for Poland Jr. High as their end of year field trip. We love getting to hang out with these guys and share Jesus with them. 📸 @camrynaugust

Happy Valentine’s Day from south grant elementary FCA! We had the kids look up and write verses about God’s love on a valentine to pass out to their teachers or classmates. It was a sweet time! ❤️

What a great day we had equipping Pineville Jr. High and Poland Jr. High leaders to share the gospel and lead small groups on their campus and sports teams. We even had a little fun playing some games. Always thankful to LCU for providing a place for us to do our FCA days and our leadership workshops! Thank you to Terrell, Parker, and Jacob for helping lead it!

Today was so sweet. We were going through the Four again as we have done numerous times at Colfax Elementary FCA throughout the year. Today the students were taught how to use the bracelet as a tool to share the gospel with their friends and family. Charles and I had the students go over it with us individually to get their bracelet. I teared up as the gospel was shared simply out of the mouths of these students. The gospel doesn’t get old. The gospel is enough. Keep sharing the gospel and let the Holy Spirit do the rest! ❤️

Update on some of our FCAs!

It is the 200th anniversary of collegiate day of prayer. LCU and LSUA FCA are coming together for worship through Prayer and Song this Thursday at 630pm at Trinity Baptist in pineville. All are welcomed. You don’t have to be apart of FCA or in college to come. Come pray with us! Please share with any other college ministries in the area.

So proud of @mr.charles.williams he was contacted by Buckeye’s coach to do a team building event so Charles gathered a team and did “Doing Sports God’s Way.” The team he gathered to help him did wonderful! Wade, Kk, Alaysia, and Kylie joined Charles in volunteering their time to come and lead this team…. It was beautiful to see!! Any team interested in having one of these contact us! We have some people who are passionate about this specific thing!! We even got permission to come interrupt practice to share about Jesus! Come on! The influence of a coach. Let’s go!

Was able to join Northwood For their FCA Wednesday morning! Thankful for Wade and the impact he is making in our community. This group is going through the Beatitudes and Wade talked about blessed are those that mourn for they will be COMFORTED. We also played the cup game which is always fun! 😂 Huddle Sponsor: Kirby! Brame is walking through the book of Ephesians this year. We had one of our LSUA leaders lead their group this morning from Ephesians 1:1-10. Thankful for our college FCA’s pouring into our local schools! Something that stuck out today that @kyles.marieee__ said in reference to Jesus pursuing Everyone. “Jesus ran after those who were running from him.” ❤️🙌🏻

Tioga’s first FCA of the year! Thankful for volunteers like Chloe and Faith who have stepped up to help at Tioga. Today was so good setting the tone for the year. Faith talked about carrying our cross and how we aren’t meant to do it alone and how we have each other to help us. Chloe talked about their goals for the year are to Treasure the gospel, treasure the church (globally), keep each other focused on Jesus, and to encourage one another and spur each other on.

Tioga High School hosted a pastoral lunch today to get more community/church involvement with the school as well as their FCA. I was so encouraged to hear from Mr. LaCombe and hear his heart on the need to have our churches more involved with our schools. It was such a sweet time also hearing from former FCA Sponsor from Tioga, Mrs. Jodie Hallman. She has definitely left a mark on a few campuses in our area throughout her years of teaching and coaching. She still has a heart for our kids and she just wants them to know Jesus! What a great day at Tioga High!

FCA huddles are starting up all around our area from elementary through college and we couldn’t be more excited! The gospel is spreading on our local campuses as believers are encouraged to step out and be bold in sharing their faith in Jesus to those around them! Mr. Harry and I enjoyed our time at “First at First”, a business leader’s luncheon. We had an opportunity to share what FCA is doing in our local schools. Thank you First Baptist Pineville for allowing us the time to share. I was able to reconnect with my Athletic Director from NSU, which was awesome!

Warren and I had the opportunity to pray for and encourage the coaches at ASH today. Thanks to Mrs. Andries with ASH FCA for inviting us. “A coach will impact more young people in a year than the average person does in a lifetime.” -Billy Graham

Held a leadership workshop for ASH FCA leadership. Had a great time engaging, equipping, and empowering these leaders to lead on their campus and their teams!

At Pineville today for their weekly FCA meeting and this young man was so excited about his new Bible with his name on it. He was already prepared and had read over what would be discussed today during their huddle! The young man beside him said I have my Bible too and he pulled out his phone and went to the Bible app. ❤️❤️ Excitement over God’s Word! I love it! Praying the Word continues to transform their hearts!

Spring 2020 finds us all in a unique time. As our state remains under a stay-at-home order, businesses are closed, and many plans must be changed. After much thought and deliberation, we have decided to postpone our upcoming luncheon featuring Drew Brees until Spring 2021. We are discussing dates with a representative for Drew Brees but rest assured we will still have him. We will get information out as soon as we nail down the date. We are thankful for all who support the ministry of FCA in our area.
